At least in 2000 I liked John McCain. There is not one republican candidate I could live with as President. The field is really weak right now...

Why I love Firefox

If you don't already use firefox as your internet browser, you should. Microsoft has try to shoot back with IE 7 but it still is a shadow in comparison with Fox 3.0. Check this link out it will show you how to really have fun with Firefox

Have you ever wondered who decides the price of gas?

I curse every time I fill up with gas.
In 1997 I remember paying .89 cents a gallon for gas. We pay upwards of 3.50 now. In 1997 minimum wage was 5.15? What's the minimum wage now?

History of the word Fuck

My favorite word in the English language. It can be used as so many ways: adjective, noun, adverb, etc... This is a little long at one and a half hours but it's fun.

I'm only 40 pages into it but I love it already. Well written and well thought out. I highly recommend it.

Ismael Beah on the Daily Show

I read his book a little while back after seeing him on the Daily Show. The book was very good and gives you some insight into what it's like to be a child soldier.

In my travels today I found a handy-dandy website where you can get updated gas prices. The price of gas has been driving me batty lately. Personally I think there is some kind of conspiracy with gas prices. It just doesn't make sense. Oh they give us reasons but I don't think they justify what we now pay at the pump.

Nancy Pelosi wants to hear your thoughts about impeachment!

You read the title correctly! It's no joke, I did it myself. All you have to do is call 1-202-225-0100. This is a line to Nancy's office. All you have to say is, "I want to register my support for the impeachment of Bush & Cheney." They will say thank you and hang up. Trust me you'll feel a whole lot better. I sure did.

Addendum 5/4 According to digg.com this was a fabrication. Pelosi's office received thousands of calls though.

My First Post

Hello Blogosphere! Long time reader...First time writer. While I'm new to having my own blog, I've been an avid reader for about four years now. I finally succumbed to pressure to let my own voice be heard. I'm currently 26 years old and married (sorry ladies). I work for the government and am quite terrified by the current state of our government. I'm located near the Ann Arbor, MI area. I want to start a blog to express my opinions. I hope to have entertaining and interesting things to say on the state of things. Stay tuned while I figure this whole thing out.
